Refund & cancellation policy

This policy applies to all paid plans of Newspaper Maker (newspapermaker.in), operated by Badhani Technologies (“we”, “us”). Newspaper Maker is a digital software service (SaaS), so there is no physical delivery or return of goods.

Free trial

Every new customer gets a 14-day free trial that needs no payment. We want you to try the service fully before you pay.

Cancelling a subscription

• Plans are prepaid and do not renew automatically, so you are never charged again unless you choose to pay for a new period.
• You can ask us to cancel your plan at any time by email or phone; the service continues until the end of the current period.
• Unused days of the current period are not refunded pro-rata, except in the cases listed below.

When you get a refund

• First payment: a full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first payment after the trial.
• Duplicate payment: if you are charged twice for the same period because of a technical error, the extra amount is refunded in full.
• Service outage: if the service is down for more than 72 hours in a row because of a fault on our side, you get a proportionate refund or credit for that time.
• Yearly plans: if you cancel within 15 days of payment, we refund the balance after deducting the monthly price for the months used.

When there is no refund

• Requests made after the time limits above.
• Extra issues and extra pages that have already been used.
• Accounts closed for breaking our terms of service.
• Problems outside our control, such as your internet, browser, printer or printing press.

How to request a refund

Write to badhanimedia@gmail.com from your registered email with the subject “Refund request”. Include your account email, payment date, transaction ID and the reason. We confirm the request within 2 working days.

Refund timeline

Approved refunds are sent within 5 to 7 working days to the same payment method you used (UPI, card, net banking and so on). Depending on your bank or the payment gateway, it may take a few extra days to show in your account.
